THE BENEFITS OF RADIESSE
Radiesse® (formerly known as Radiance®), is a FDA approved, biocompatible and non-allergenic dermal and wrinkle filler. Radiesse contains calcium-based microspheres that once injected, start the process known as collagenesis. This in turn helps to build up your collage and provide your face greater structure, volume, and elasticity. Advantages of Radiesse include long lasting correction of facial wrinkles compared to hyaluronic acid based products, such as Juvederm and Restylane.
Dr. Hoefflin performs Radiesse injections to smooth out facial wrinkles in the nasolabial folds (area between the nose and cheek), marionette lines (area beneath the corner of your mouth), and the pre-jowl area (either side of your chin). In addition, Dr. Hoefflin performs volumetric sculpting by augmenting your cheek and undereye areas to a more youthful and well-rested appearance. Patients report a very high satisfaction rate after their Radiesse treatments.

WHAT CAN I DO TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF BRUISING?
Aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, Advil, and virtually all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents thin the blood and can promote bruising. In addition, anything herbal, red wine, and homeopathic medications can do the same. To minimize bruising, it's advisable to avoid these products for 10 days before a treatment. To find out more about which medications you are presently taking and their potential for bruising, please contact our offices.
Our medical offices also offers our patients both topical and oral arnica, a homeopathic medication which may reduce bruising.
